Korean listening practice #13 Morning person
Welcome to Part 13 of our Korean listening practice series!
Today, we’ll focus on expressions related to Morning routine!
Do you like to get up early in the morning? I’m naturally a morning person. I’m more productive in the mornings and love the peacefulness that comes with the early hours. However, sometimes getting up can be a bit of a challenge.
In this post, we’ll explore various expressions related to waking up early and the routines we follow in the morning. All the vocabulary can be very practical when discussing your morning routines, so make sure to review it thoroughly and get comfortable with the new terms!
<How to study>
1. Get to know important vocab and become acquainted with grammar concepts.
2. Watch the video without subtitles initially, then review with subtitles.
3. Listen repeatedly and mimic the speaker. Aim to listen at least once daily until you’re comfortable with the sentence structures and expressions.

It’s hard to get up early in the morning, especially if you don’t have much motivation or will.
아침에 일찍 일어나려면 밤에도 일찍 자야해요.
If you want to get up early in the morning, you have to go to bed early at night.
요즘 아침 5시에 일어나려고 노력하고 있어요.
Recently I’m trying to get up at 5 a.m.
일어나서 공부도 조금 하고, 일도 조금 하려고 해요.

5시에 일어나는 건 힘들지만, 일어나서 생산적이게 아침을 보내면 기분이 좋아져요.
