Today is the weekend, so I didn’t want to do anything.
If I work hard during weekdays, I just want to sleep on weekends.
I’m tired, out of energy. I’m not motivated.
Yesterday, I was lying down in bed until 3 pm.
I only ate snacks in bed.
But I didn’t feel good, I didn’t want to end the day like this.
I woke up and started cleaning. I did the dishes, and I did the laundry.
After taking a shower, (I realized) I didn’t want to go back to bed.
Instead, I sat at my desk and started reading.
After doing that, I also wanted to cook dinner, and I (made and) ate healthy food.
Everyone has times when they lack motivation and become lazy.
That’s natural, and it’s okay to spend time like that sometimes.
But I didn’t want to spend every weekend feeling low on energy.
So whenever I feel low on energy, I try to get up and clean up.
How do you guys overcome lack of motivation?
You can also find this on Spotify/Google Podcasts.
