In the past, there were no smartphones. People rarely did social media such as Instagram or YouTube.

After school, I hung out with my friends at the playground.

I listened to music on CD.

I mostly texted and called. I could only play simple games on my phone

I also talked a lot with my family. On Sundays, I always watched TV with my family.

When I was bored, I read a book or listened to music lying in bed. There were also many inconveniences.

I always had to listen to music on CD or MP3. I was always lost because I didn’t have a map.

I also played more computer games. Now I can do everything with my smartphone.

I can easily find information. There are a lot of different materials, so I can study languages more easily.

I can even read books on my phone. But sometimes I use my phone too much.

I watch YouTube or Netflix until late at night.

Even when I’m with my family, we don’t talk and look at our cell phones.

Smartphones have many pros and cons. We should always use it moderately.
