Hi everyone! Welcome back to Sol’s Korean listening practice!
Today, I’ll be talking about Korean dialects, focusing on the Gyeongsangdo Dialect. 🌸🐥

You can try a little test after watching the video!



Dialect – Standard Korean – Meaning


1. 와 이라노? / 와 이카노 = 왜 이래? (Whats’ wrong?)

2. 잠 와 = 졸려 (sleepy)

3. 띠리하다 = 멍청하다 = 바보 (foolish)

4. 쌔그럽다 = 시다 (sour)

5. 강세이 = 강아지 (puppy)

6. 천지삐까리다 = 많다 (to be a lot)

7. 캤다 = 말했다 (to say)

8. 디다 = 힘들다, 피곤하다(to be tired)

9. 데피다 = 데우다 (to heat up)

10. 우야꼬 = 어떡하지 (what to do, what should I do?)


Put your best effort into understanding the video as you listen.
